Uganda 7th Feb: Gorillas!

Well, this was a day long awaited. Ever since seeing David Attenborough spend time with gorillas as a child, it’s been something I’ve always wanted to do. So, today the 44 year wait came to an end. It really was unbelievable, so much so, I know I completely lack the ability to articulate it properly. So all I’ll do here is share a few images and a video that’s on YouTube. The first image is a link to the video and also shows me completing a piece of artwork. The art, which is the whole point of this trip i.e. to produce at least 10 pieces and then sell them in a dedicated exhibition to raise more money for the Uganda Conservation Foundation, is coming along. I’ve got loads of ideas already, it’s just trying to get time to plan and sketch them that’s the issue 🙂
