News from the Easel

Working on all this new art is an absolute joy! It’s been such a long time since I’ve been able to focus so much.

There’s going to be a new video coming out, showing my entire creative process from beginning to end. It will show how I get my ideas, build and prep canvases, paint and build frames, not to mention completing the art itself. The piece that will be used for this is the one that I’m working on right now, and you get to see it first above.

A work featuring Oystercatchers has been on my mind for many years, as we see them regularly, along Southampton Water, a coastline, we’ve got to know better than ever during lockdown. So, I thought now that I have the time, now was the time to finally get on with it.

Keep an eye out for the video, but in the meantime here’s a small new pieces for you to see. Click on the images to find out more.
