Commissions
The Process
Step 1
Simply making the decision to have a commission is all that’s needed for step 1. By taking that first step you have decided to work with me to create a completely unique piece of art that can be tailored to you and the space you would like to hang it. If you would like to, we can include all sorts of personal references, which can be things like favourite places, animals, pets, references to hobbies, personality traits or anything really. The only limit is our imaginations! As an example, there are actually 6 references to the number 6 in the artwork on the left?

Step 2
We will then work together to decide the best approach to create your unique piece of art. This will include size, media, price, required completion date amongst many other things. If you decide to proceed with the commission a deposit will be required, to confirm the commission whilst I’m working on any current commissions.
Once I’m able, I’ll then work on your specific composition. This could be done via pencil sketches, whiteboard art, oil sketches, or a combination of any or all of them.
Step 3
Once the final composition has been agreed, I’ll work on the artwork for you, sending you regular updates, so you can see each stage as it’s being created. I encourage feedback, even at this stage, so things can be changed pretty much at any time.
Step 4
Once complete, dry and framed, usually within 2-4 weeks of work starting, the art is ready for collection, or delivery, and you are the proud owner of your own genuine original artwork.
