Solo Show at the Mall Galleries, London - September 2023
A truly extraordinary experience that will never be forgotten. All but one of the 13 works created to raise money for the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation had sold by the end of the exhibition, raising over £15,000 for wildlife conservation around the globe. I can't thank DSWF, The Mall Galleries, or everyone that chose to invest in a piece of my art, or came to the show enough. I hugely appreciated it!
David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year 2022: Overall Winner
Somewhat unbelievably the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation has seen fit to make me their Wildlife Artist of the Year! Here are a couple of the judges comments: "This delicate painting is so evocative of all we have to lose if we do not look after our planet’s environment” “This incredible piece will be etched in my memory for years to come. The pure artistic intricacy, depth, and tapestry of penmanship in this stunning forest evokes a spinetingling reaction.”

My work Morning on the Lake was awarded the Dry Red Press Award, which means it was picked by Dry Red Press as their favourite piece in the exhibition. The Society of Graphic Fine Art is a very prestigious organisation that was formed over 100 years old
David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year: Highly Commended - 2021
New Forest Deer was awarded Highly Commended by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation. Judge’s comment: “The medium matches the subject perfectly here. The twisting interlock of branches writhes in a delightful dance of light and shade across the picture plane and for a moment the tangled depths hold us captive: the deer are momentarily still, but any moment they will turn on their dainty feet and skip away, but even then we will still enjoy exploring the intricate landscape.”
